Surtron opens new premises in Brisbane

Thursday, 25 Nov 2010

Increasing demand for Coal-Bed-Methane (CBM) related directional drilling services in Queensland and New South Wales has seen Surtron out-grow its premises in Sumner Park and move to a new 1,200m2 facility in Darra.

With talk of CBM LNG projects to rival Western Australia’s North West Shelf operations, much focus on the region and the resource has been brought to bear, particularly by some of the worlds larger energy resource developers. Surtron has been involved on a number of major projects in the region with customers such as Arrow energy and Santos. Surtron hopes to capitalise on the strong market, with strong demand for directional drilling services evident in late 2010 through 2011 and on.
